How does the Speed Courier tracking system work?

Our parcel tracking system is based upon GPS enabled PDA devices carried by our courier driver. Our operations team will have the current location of our fleet at all times. The PDA devices are used to transfer collection and delivery details to our drivers.

Why is so important?

Our parcels tracking system allows us to toggle into satellite view mode and communicate with our drivers so that they can arrive at their destination as expected. We are able to pinpoint the location of our drivers and help them in problematic situations that could steer them off course, e.g. a road accident.

This system is available for our clients to access through a web portal that can be configured to display the information that is required.  The PDA devices also allow our clients to receive a signature for their consignment immediately after the goods have reached their destination.

Currently, there are many parcel couriers that offer parcel tracking for their services. If you are not using a courier that offer such a service then making a switch may be worth considering.
