A local NHS Trust (Greater Manchester) was due a building refurbishment which included a complete removal of an operating theatre which needed to be de commissioned removed and set up elsewhere in a timely manner.

Speed Couriers worked alongside hospital technicians to provide removal and transportation of the entire theatre during the night and weekends within a timeframe that ensured no disruption to  scheduled patient operations.

We utilised specialised vehicles for the removal of delicate pieces of equipment and provided a team to carry out the whole task from shutdown to re-install and final re-commissioning. All vehicles utilised had specialised deep cleans completed prior to being engaged.

Having moved thousands of samples in the past along with blood, medical records, pharmaceutical products this was another undertaking to add to our Specialist Courier services we provide.
