Following a stringent audit of both our information security and physical security processes and procedures, Speed Couriers have been awarded FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft) Certification.

From the FACT website “The FACT Certification Scheme currently covers over 110 companies of all sizes and is administered by FACT on behalf of its members. Businesses wishing to provide services to the audio-visual industry must satisfy members they have sufficiently high levels of security in order to safeguard the intellectual property rights of FACT members.”

“Intellectual Property (IP) is the lifeblood of many companies and FACT works closely with its members to combat piracy (illegal copying, distribution and sale of films, TV programmes and sporting events) which has a direct impact on the jobs of hundreds of thousands of people in the UK alone and threatens the survival of businesses small and large.”

The FACT Certification, in the same vein as the NHS Information Governance Toolkit,  is yet another demonstration of the exceedingly high service and security levels provided as  a matter of course by Speed Couriers (Northern) Ltd.
